We’ve been waiting a long time for this (see: September 2007’s announcement). Finally we have some sneak peaks at the first of the collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Tokidoki, courtesy Highsnobiety. Tokidoki is a Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand created by and based around the cartoon figures of Italian artist Simone Legno. The Onitsuka Tiger X Tokidoki sneakers stay true to the colorful world of Tokidoki and feature appearances by some of Tokidoki’s most iconic characters, including Adios, Mozzarella, and Sandy. Curiously, a few days ago a pair of women’s boots inexplicably popped up on eBay and sold for $222.50.
